Do you remember?
"I wish this moment could last forever"
It was just you and me
On our lonely meadow
In the afterglow
It was the look in your eyes
It is and always will
Time stood still
Just for a second"
We used to stop the world when we were kids
We laughed our problems away when we were teens
We grew up but nothing has changed
We are still our color
When everything else is grey
I still remember all the endless nights
Feeling the grass on our skin and counting stars
I would have followed you anywhere
Because my home was wherever you are
But I am afraid
That this could be all taken away from me
So if this is a dream, don't wake me up again
Because they don't say without a reason
'For better or for worse'
Because today can be a bless
And tomorrow can be a motherfucking curse
What if the good things will come to an end?
But as long as I breathe my love is eternal
It never faints
It never dies
Like my memories
Cause right in my eyes
You have always bloomed
And deep in my heart you'll never wither
Whatever may come, I'll stay by your side
This is a promise I make
For all time
"Blossom
Do you remember?
"I will walk this path with you together"
With all of my heart
And with all of my soul
I'll never let you go"
Do you remember?
Time stood still
Just for a second
With all of my heart
And with all of my soul
I will never let you go
The lyrics of Dawnwatcher's song "Blossom" tell a story of a deep and enduring connection between two people. The song reminisces about a past moment shared between the singer and their loved one, where time seemed to stand still. It was a moment of pure love and happiness, and the singer wishes it could have lasted forever.
The song then shifts to reflect on the journey the two have gone through together. Despite growing up and facing challenges, their love remains constant. The lyrics emphasize that their love is their true essence, their "color," in a world that can sometimes feel grey. The singer vividly remembers the nights spent together, embracing nature and counting stars, and emphasizes their willingness to follow their loved one anywhere because home is wherever they are.
However, there is a hint of fear in the lyrics. The singer expresses concern that all their happiness could be taken away, acknowledging the potential for both blessings and curses in life. Yet, they are determined not to let fear consume them. They declare that their love is eternal, like their memories, and they will remain by their loved one's side no matter what comes their way.
Overall, "Blossom" is a heartfelt declaration of love that acknowledges the fragility of happiness while remaining steadfast in the face of uncertainty.

My sister worked for awhile with the singer Billy at Harry Ramsdens fish & chips shop at Guiseley near Leeds, he gave her this single to give to me to see if I liked it ,i was 17 and f...ing loved it and also Spellbound, unfortunately they didn't get anywhere , Shame , I thought they were incredible, better than most of the other NWOBHM at the time
