Formed from the remnants of 4 other bands at the start of 2012, collectively the five members (Alex Mountford, , vocals, Louis Matlock, guitar, Sam Matlock, guitar, Sam Chappell, bass, and Stephen North, drums) have played the Isle Of Wight festival 3 times, opened the mainstage for the Foo Fighters, toured the UK and over-sold Southampton Joiners. After only one show together Dead have won the opening slot on the mainstage at Takedown Festival supporting Canterbury, Deaf Havana, Lower Than Atlantis, Skindred and more.
