Finally emerged up from the womb, white room filled with lights,
I was born and immediately felt overwhelmed by the bright lights and strange environment.

At the age of 16, I began pursuing my passion for rap music.

Sat with my laptop recorded some tracks,
I started recording tracks on my laptop in the comfort of my own basement.

The basement was a dark and isolated place where I could focus on my music.

Understood had to go the way,
I knew deep down that pursuing music was the path I had to follow.

Even doing shows for small pay,
I didn't mind performing shows for little pay as I knew it was part of the journey.

I generated some buzz and learned to emulate the success of Jay Z.

I knew that the time was now to really make a name for myself in the industry.

Had to leave the pussy behind whenever,
I made the difficult decision to let go of anything or anyone that could potentially hold me back from achieving my goals.

Finally toured with B. O. B.,
After much hard work, I finally had the opportunity to tour with the successful artist B.O.B.

Never knew how sweet this life could be,
I never truly understood how amazing life could be until I started experiencing success in my music career.

Got airplay on the radio for weeks,
My music got significant airplay on the radio for several weeks.

Shit got me feeling excited and weak,
The excitement of hearing my music on the radio made me feel both thrilled and vulnerable.

Kept working hard, school interrupted,
Despite facing some interruptions from school, I kept working hard at my music.

Broke up, left my girl disrupted,
I went through a breakup that left my ex-girlfriend feeling upset and confused.

People are curious about my feelings and emotions, but I can't help but ask myself how I can ease the pain and struggles that come with living life in the spotlight.

Got a show with Tribe Called Quest,
I got the opportunity to perform with the legendary rap group, A Tribe Called Quest.

Shit got me feeling like the best,
Performing with A Tribe Called Quest made me feel like I was at the top of the world.

I had to leave, I couldn't believe,
I eventually had to leave the performance, and it was difficult for me to believe that it had even happened.

That I was up with so many people,
I was amazed at the number of people I was able to perform in front of that night.

Breathing and vibing all so equal,
It was truly incredible to see people from all walks of life come together to enjoy the music.

Every color that the eye could see,
People of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds were present at the show.

Worked on a deal how could it be,
I was able to negotiate a deal for my music, which was a dream come true.

This is what I really had to do,
I knew that pursuing music was my true calling in life.

Stopped right there and I saw you,
I paused for a moment and saw someone who made a significant impact on my life.

Starring at me so truthful,
The person was staring at me with an honest and genuine look.

Got chocked up for a minute,

I was able to gather myself and overcome my emotions, refocusing my attention on my career.

I also avoided models who only wanted to be seen and didn't have a true passion for the industry.

Drink shots for the times I been laid,
I drank shots to celebrate the times I had success with women.

Fuck hangovers not enough smiles,
However, I realized that partying and drinking too much only led to hangovers and wasn't worth it when it came to true happiness in life.

Cut this bitch off speed dial,
I decided to cut off any women who didn't truly support me or my career.

Just kept quite for a lil while,
I kept quiet for a little while and focused on my music.

Few years later got a money pile,
As time went on, I was able to accumulate wealth and success from my music career.

Now I'm living in my own world,
I'm living in my own world that I created through my music and success.

With melodies and no homeroom,
My life is filled with melodies and no need for a traditional education setting.

Never really fucked with school and that,
School wasn't my thing, and I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in music instead.

Just graduated real rich in fact,
I was able to graduate from the music industry with great success and wealth.

Despite all of my success, I still feel the pain and struggle of living life in the spotlight, and I can't help but ask myself how I can ease that pain and find true happiness.
