My father loved my mother so much!! She lived to be 84 and passed away from Alzheimer's.. We kept her at home for as long as we could, but the last few months she was in a nursing home. He would stay the entire day with her. And then four years later my father passed away from congestive heart failure at 89. They loved each other so much. My daughter, granddaughter and I took care of both of them in their home. We'd love them so much. My father was like a father to my granddaughter. He got to see her go off to college, but passed away right before she graduated. We were so blessed to have them ❤️

I know exactly how you feel Dave , met my next door neighbor in the summer of 1964. She just turned 16 and I just got out of the Army. We dated for two more years, then got married July 23, 1966. We will soon have our 53rd wedding anniversary and like you I still love my wife as much now as I did when I first met her. My husband of 9 years passed away without warning November 19, 2019 it's only been 2 months since he left me to go be with God. He used to sing this song to me. I miss his voice, I miss him holding me, I miss him loving me, I miss everything about him. I wish that he was here with me. We have an 8 year old son together and he misses him everyday. With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, my husband is no longer suffering I will love and miss him dearly.
