This is a masterpiece. I remember when my brother was in the Army in 88-89 and he was stationed in England. All the letters and pictures. Every time I listen to this song it reminds me of how much he was my hero and showed me how big the world really is.

George is forever a part of my life he is probably the first celebrity crush I had as a small child in the late 80s and I fell in love totally as an adult right before he passed I had lost track of him over the years then 6 months before he died on hisbirthday June 25th to be exact I typed in his name on youtube was not even trying to and it was the best thing I ever did from then on I was a schoolgirl again then he died and that threw me off but the schoolgirl is still intact and she is coming back stronger every day since I learned to grieve properly I had my bad moments and times but that's grief it is like a roller coaster I would still look him up even if i had known I was gonna go through this pain though because having him in my life is the best I do not know how I went all them years without hearing him or watching him eventhough I have slipped as far as watching videos the way i did when he was with us I am catching back up and with listening to him that wastotal by accident i am not one of the fans who can't listen to him or conciously stopped if anything not listening to him or watchig him I cannot deal I am someone I do not know when that happens sorry this is long

can't believe in June it will be 3 years since he came back into my life and then in December it will be 3 years since he was taken from this world forever it happened so fast I looked him up and was so happy for all those months then I started getting a feeling soon before he died that things were too good and something was coming and then it did it was a total shock and a complete blow he was even laid to rest on my birthday March 29th 2017 I feel blessed that that day was chosen though not sad I was at first but now I consider it a special symbol that he is definitely meant to be a part of my life as corny as it may sound he the love of my life I have never and can never see myself grieving over another man except my dad and brother and nephew

Yes he was at the funeral. And Deon was his main bass player dir wham and his singles. This song was setting Deon was working on for goerge's faith album actually. And George basically said why don't you get some play. No one had heard Deon sing, and no one knew his was his bass player when it came out. So it had the opposite affect on it. People thought he was a George Michael clone, instead of a very good friend, and his long time bass player. It's a shame because this was my ultimate jam

I had no clue this was Deon Estus' song but I'm glad that I know the truth about now.....and that BASS GUITAR, he's killin' it......love it, love it, love it... I heard that bass guitar and was like "who's playin' the hell outta that guitar like that?" Give Deon his props because when I was a kid I absolutely loved this song but people always mentioned George Michael when it came to this song. I love GM as well but Deon's skills were and still are sweet to this day. I hope he comes out with something in the near future...bring the 80s love back, because we need it.

Deon Estus was considered the 4th wham member. This is what George Michael meant when he was desperately trying to get away from his recording contract. Deon’s contact kept him in his initial contact and that’s what held him back. George Michael even mentioned it in several of his interviews. They were friends from the beginning. George helped him in any way he could.

This was an amazing song and George was such a great friend and band mate to have written and sang background for his friend after he'd gone solo. He would even have Deon play with him on tours. This song has GM's stamp all over it! He could've kept it for himself and it would've still berm a hit! I miss him so very much! He was such a rare talent and human!
