His next album, Ek en Jy , achieved gold status and won a Sama for best contemporary music album. It also received four Ghoema nominations and a Tempo nomination. His latest album is Jy Is die Storm .
Wasserfall was the mentor of Ivan Roux and Deidré Barnard in the reality music competition Die Kontrak which was broadcast on VIA on DStv . The Contract follows a race for a million rand contract that awaits the eventual winner. Wasserfall's song "New Beginning" was the show's theme song.

Ek het in Amsterdam gebly vir 'n ruk en die liedjie voel vir my soos 'n liefdesbrief aan Amsterdam uit my pen uit. Dis alles wat ek nog altyd gevoel het (en steeds doen). Ek gaan oor 'n maand na 8 jaar terug om te kuier, maar ek weet ek gaan van vooraf weer hartgebroke wees wanneer ek moet groet.
