1) Diamonds (Australia/Glasgow)
2) Asher "Diamonds" Gray (USA)
3) Diamonds (Canada)
1) Diamonds are an ex-Australian hard pop/noisy indie three-piece based in Glasgow.
Aidan and Sarah packed up their equipment in Adelaide, Australia late 2007. Put it all in a shipping container and set it loose on an over sea voyage to Glasgow. All to play some real, raw and exciting rock music on the other side of the world.
Diamondsβ music is a loud and energetic mash of classic pop music like that of Teenage Fanclub, Elliott Smith, Wilco and The Beatles and harder and more obscure music like that of Helmet, Slint, The Jesus Lizard and The Hot Snakes. Aidanβs singing, screaming and edgy guitar tone is really brought to life by Sarahβs pile-driving bass, sweet and clear vocals and Jamie's thumping drums. Continuing in the passionate, raw and honest tradition, Diamonds songs can be anything from measured steps to screaming release.
2) Asher "Diamonds" Gray is 1/2 of the Milwaukee based party duo The Glamour and the founder of 24Carat Design. Diamonds mixes party mash ups
3) Diamonds (Canada) Have one album titled "Rough Cuts" and released a new single titled "Swan (49Β°02β²00β³,119Β°03β²00β³)" in December 2009.
Dance With Me
Diamonds Lyrics

I'm all alone, turn the lights low
I'm looking out
I'm looking out, for someone to see
And someone to be seeing me
But maybe
It's me I'm looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
It's me
It's me I've been looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
I've been going out
I've been going out on a limb
I begin to see who I might really be (into the shadow I see my face)
Who I might really be
Who I might really be
Who I might really be
It's me
It's me I'm looking for
It's me
It's me on the dancefloor
It's me
It's me I've been looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
I was looking for someone who might see me
And I might see too
Maybe that is you
Maybe
It's me
It's me I'm looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
It's me
It's me I've been looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
It's me
It's me I'm looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
It's me
It's me I've been looking for
It's me
It's me on the dance floor
The lyrics of "Dance With Me" by Diamonds explore the idea of self-discovery and being comfortable in one's own skin. The singer is alone and looking for someone to see and accept her as she truly is. She has been going out on a limb, taking risks, and discovering who she might really be. Through dancing, the singer feels like she has found herself, and in doing so, she doesn't need anyone else to validate her existence. She realizes that she is looking for herself, and finds herself on the dance floor, where she is free to be who she is without any limitations.
The repetition of "it's me" throughout the song is a powerful reminder to the listener that they don't need anyone else to make them whole. They are already complete within themselves. The lyrics of "Dance With Me" encourage the listener to be confident in their own skin and to embrace their unique qualities. It's a powerful message that we all need to hear from time to time.
Overall, "Dance With Me" is a powerful anthem of individuality and self-acceptance. It's a reminder that when we dance, we free ourselves from the constraints of society and allow ourselves to be who we truly are.
