For your perfect looks
You're the lady cocaine
Powder Make-Up
You're a mystery linked with misery
You're a treasure case
Feeling naked
And everything is possible today
You can't buy an attitude
It's not for sale
Don't say you're misunderstood
You just kiss and tell
You can't buy an attitude
Like a pair of shoes
No money in this world
Can buy a better you
Mrs. Universe with her head in the sky
Mrs. Love affairs
Come on, shake it
They should put you in jail
For your perfect looks
You're the lady cocaine
Powder Make-Up
And everything is possible today
Just one thing's impossible
Always
You can't buy an attitude
It's not for sale
Don't say you're misunderstood
You just kiss and tell
You can't buy an attitude
Like a pair of shoes
No money in this world
Can buy a better you
And now you collide
With the tears in your eyes
Why don't you just smile
You can't buy an attitude
It's not for sale
Don't say you're misunderstood
You just kiss and tell
You can't buy an attitude
It's not for sale
Don't say you're misunderstood
You just kiss and tell
You can't buy an attitude
Like a pair of shoes
No money in this world
Can buy a better you
The lyrics of Attitude by Die Happy are a commentary on the superficiality and emptiness of the world of glamour, beauty and fame. The song is addressed to a woman who is portrayed as the epitome of beauty and perfection, a "lady cocaine" and "powder make-up". While she seems to have it all, her happiness is tinged with misery, and she is a "mystery linked with misery". Despite her wealth and good looks, she is still vulnerable and feeling "naked".
