Here comes the Rain again
Dikla Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
(baby)Is it raining with you
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean baby
Is it raining with you
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me, Talk to me, Talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk, Walk, Walk baby walk
Here comes the rain again
Raining in my head like a tragedy
Tearing me apart like a new
emotion emotion emotion
I want to breathe in the open wind
I want to kiss like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
(baby) Is it raining with you
Talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me, Talk to me, Talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk, Walk, Walk baby walk
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Dikla's song "Here Comes the Rain Again" is a poignant and evocative piece that explores themes of heartbreak, longing, and the yearning to connect with another person in a profound way. The song opens with the image of rain falling on the singer's head "like a memory", evoking a sense of nostalgia and loss. As the rain continues to fall, the singer expresses a desire to "walk in the open wind" and "talk like lovers do", suggesting a romantic longing that is not currently being fulfilled.
Throughout the song, the singer continues to express this sense of yearning, stating that they want to "breathe in the open wind", "kiss like lovers do", and "dive into [the other person's] ocean". The repetition of these phrases underscores the intensity of the singer's desire, while the use of water imagery (such as rain and the ocean) highlights the emotional depth of their feelings.
