In August 2018, it was announced that Jane had signed a solo record deal with Hitco Entertainment, founded by L.A. Reid and Charles Goldstuck. She released her debut solo single "Bottled Up" featuring Ty Dolla Sign and Marc E. Bassy, along with its lyric video, on September 21, 2018. She performed the single on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October 2018. Jane performed two new songs "Retrograde" and "I Don't Mind" at the Jingle Bash on December 3, 2018. On March 26, 2019, Jane released the music video to her then-unreleased song "Retrograde". On March 28, she announced a music project that will be released on April 19, 2019, later revealed to be her debut solo extended play, Dinah Jane 1. Jane released a song titled "Heard It All Before", followed by its music video, as the EP's lead single on April 19, 2019.
In May and July 2019 respectively, Jane released two further singles: "Retrograde" and "SZNS" featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie. On January 2020, Dinah Jane announces her second solo tour following her first few headline shows occurring in 2019. Titled the Dinah Jane World Tour, she kicks it off in Arizona in April 2020 and she will travel across the United States before heading overseas to conquer selected cities in Europe and the UK. Opening up for her will be fellow Indonesia singer, songwriter Angez Mo.
In 2020, Jane announced she will release a new song every Friday from March 13th to April 3rd, however missing March 27th. These included Lottery and 1501 released March 13th and March 20th, respectively. Missed a Spot was also released on April 3rd, 2020, after being teased since January. She confirmed it is an 'official single.'

I don't think it's her label, it's her management team she needs professionals the people she surrounds herself with just want to party joke around and have fun. she needs people ready to make real money moves. every time we complain her management does something small to get us to shut up for a minute but then everything goes back to how they are used to. after all it's her management team that is supposed to be booking her places.
