The lyrics of Direct Control's song "Cleptomaniac" talks about a protagonist who is addicted to stealing. The first stanza depicts the singer's arrogance and sense of entitlement as he announces that the world is his and not anyone else's. He then proceeds to ask someone to leave and steals their purse. Further, the singer reveals that he possesses a "curse," which reflects his inability to control his kleptomania.
