Un, Deux, Trois
Balles dans le calme Paris
J'entends sonner l'alarme
Et nos armes sont nos arts
Soudés, solides, comme des soldats
Allons, allons, enfants, d'ailleurs d'ici
C'est aujourd'hui
Allons, enfants, de la patrie
On est tous des innocents
Le cœur de la France
Brisé, s'envole au vent
À croire que les bombes
Ont su traverser le temps
Aucun dieu ne voudrait
Nous voir finir en sang
Nous voir finir en cendre
Au lieu de finir ensemble
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Un, Deux, Trois
Un, Deux, Trois
Des millions de drames
Dis-moi pour qui, pourquoi
Comment le monde peut-il perdre l'âme?
À nos vies, à l'espoir
À toi quelque part
Qui entendra chanter nos larmes?
Allons, allons, enfants, d'ailleurs d'ici
C'est aujourd'hui
Allons, enfants, de la patrie
On est tous des innocents
Le cœur de la France
Brisé, s'envole au vent
À croire que les bombes
Ont su traverser le temps
Aucun dieu ne voudrait
Nous voir finir en sang
Nous voir finir en cendre
Au lieu de finir ensemble
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
On est tous des innocents
Le cœur de la France
Brisé, s'envole au vent
À croire que les bombes
Ont su traverser le temps
Aucun dieu ne voudrait
Nous voir finir en sang
Nous voir finir en cendre
Au lieu de finir ensemble
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir, non
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir, non
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir, non
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
Je ne veux pas voir, non
Je ne veux pas voir Paris brûler
The song "Alabama" by Dirty is a powerful tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris, and a call for unity and resistance against hatred and violence. The lyrics start with a reference to the calm of Paris, which is soon interrupted by the sound of an alarm, suggesting the sudden and unexpected nature of the attacks. The artists emphasize that their weapons are their arts, and that they are ready to fight together like soldiers. The chorus repeats the famous call to arms from the French national anthem, "Allons, enfants de la patrie" (Let's go, children of the fatherland), highlighting the collective identity and resilience of the French people.
The second verse of the song expands on the theme of innocence and tragedy, asking who, why, and how the world can lose its soul. The lyrics acknowledge the sorrow and tears of the victims and their loved ones, and express the hope that their voices will be heard and their memories honored. The chorus is repeated with even more emphasis on the importance of not letting Paris burn, as a symbol of hope, freedom, and love.
Overall, "Alabama" is a moving and inspiring song that celebrates the human spirit in the face of adversity, and urges us to unite and stand up for what is right.
