Transformed like I rose from the dead they dread me my songs turn heads
I’m too lit like i’m dancing on cars
I shine bright
I glow like the stars

Original I ain’t a hero or a criminal
I gotta keep it real
I don’t feel your subliminals
I’m too big all of my haters are minuscule
They need me like the earth needs minerals
I make my own clothes I don’t need your brand
I do what I want I made the game plan
I will not conform
I’m far from the norm
my words are storm of wasp in swarm
I can’t be controlled
I’m born to be wild
I’m hot like the sun
You’re colder than mild
I’m free like a bird
Superb with every line
My actions are loud my gift is my mind
I work and don’t sleep
i’m deeper than a well
Pain made me stronger than missiles and shells
Always lit my life’s a celebration
On a new level this is my transformation

Transformed like I rose from the dead
They dread me my songs turn heads
I’m too lit like i’m dancing on cars
I shine bright
I glow like the stars
Transformed like I rose from the dead
They dread me my songs turn heads
I’m too lit like i’m dancing on cars
I shine bright
I glow like the stars

I go hard like I came with the tackle
I’m a king and my mind is a castle
You can’t tie me down with ten ropes
I’m too dope these rappers cannot cope
I live my life like I won’t see tomorrow
I’m so blessed I don’t have any sorrow
I’m so blessed I don’t have any sorrow
Number 1 homie God is my father
Got them shook like i’m dancing on water
You can’t touch me I move like a ghost
You can’t play me i’ll turn you to toast
I don’t boast
I fly coast to coast
Slam Dunk like lebron with the post
You can’t phase me or break my composure
I shine bright I don’t need your exposure
On a new level this is my transformation
Bass The Beast is dominating every single station

I’m Bass The Beast
i’m hip hops messiah
I spit fire whenever I desire
An anarchist
I don’t need your government
They’re jealous cuz me and God made a covenant
I aint a yes man
I lead and don’t follow
my hearts filled with love it’s not hallow
I fly high like i’m on the apollo
I smile hard like I just won the lotto

Overall Meaning

"Transformation" is a song from Disney's animated movie, Beauty and the Beast. However, unlike the original movie's songs, "Transformation" was not featured in the movie itself. Instead, it was created as a promotional single for the movie's re-release in 3D in 2012. The song is performed by the rapper, Nicki Minaj, and it showcases her vocal and lyrical talents.

The song starts with Minaj proclaiming that she has transformed and risen from the dead, and now her songs are too lit that it turns heads. She also says that she shines bright and glows like the stars. By using language like "too lit" and "dancing on cars," she is showing that she is confident and in control. The next verse highlights how Minaj does not care about conforming. Instead, she makes her own clothes and music while being unapologetic about her talent. She compares herself to a storm and is uncontrolled but still confident.

The chorus is repeated throughout the song and emphasizes how Minaj has transformed into a superstar and now is too lit to handle. The song ends with Minaj declaring how she does not need anyone and how she is the messiah of hip hop. She is an anarchist and does not conform to the societal norms.

FUN FACT: In the Broadway show, the Young Prince at the beginning is actually played by a member of the Ensemble. When the Enchantress throws the fireball and transforms the Prince into the Beast, there's a blackout. The Ensemble playing the "Young Prince" runs off and the main "Beast" takes over.

Also, one of the show's original cast members the Late Merwin Foard actually wrote a special backstage song that the Ensemble would sing for fun while waiting in the wings dressed in their finale costumes. It's actually really funny. Basically it would go.....

HIS LEFT ARM'S OUT
HIS RIGHT ARM'S OUT
HE THROWS THE BEAST MASK UPSTAGE
AND THEN HE TURNS AROUND
AND HE'S TURNING INTO JESUS, AND HE'S TURNING INTO JESUS, AND HE'S TURNING INTO JESUS, AND HE'S TURNING INTO JESUS,
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Also if the transformation cherry picker is broken, the actor playing The Beast actually does a modern dance which was created by Terrence Mann. It has has happened several times on Broadway and in some of the international productions.

I did not notice that the Paris version was the Paris version and when he said “belle! c'est moi!” I though he was just being extra authentic and I LOST IT

I mean, let's be honest, regardless of what language, the "Belle! It's me!" The way it's voiced is honestly hilarious.

I love whenever a stage production includes the Enchantress. I saw one where every time a petal fell, it was actually her pulling it and at first, she was super into it and dancing, but as time went on, she got more reluctant to do it as she saw how close the Beast was to learning his lesson.

@Pedro Xavier Do you remember which production this was? I'd love to find it on YouTube
