In 2010, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy undertook a reunion tour in Denmark and Japan in their original line-up. The popularity of Live in Concert 2010, recorded during this reunion, caused the band to consider a more permanent comeback, which they announced in late 2014. Their third studio album Forward in Reverse (2016), and its successor Alter Echo (2020) were both released to critical acclaim and helped regain their position as Denmark's most popular rock band. As of December 2022, the band has released four studio albums and three live albums.

Glory
The grass is growing high this summer
There's something in the air
But I lied when I tried
And I always seem to hesitate
Could this remind you of the sixties
Or am I making a mistake?
That's really all it takes
But I lied when I tried
And I always seem to hesitate
Something's wrong
Inside my heart
In the name of glory
She don't care too much for moonlight sun
Peace and love and understanding
Could make you feel so free
Psychedelic vision baby
Could be reality
But I lied when I tried
And I always seem to hesitate
Something's wrong
Inside my heart
In the name of glory
She don't care too much for moonlight sun
The lyrics in Dizzy Mizz Lizzy's song Glory describe a sense of hesitation, uncertainty, and longing for something that seems out of reach. The opening line sets a scene of summer and growth, followed by a confession of lying when trying and always hesitating. The reference to the sixties and the mention of an uncomplicated setup of one guitar, a bass, and a drummer suggest a yearning for a simpler, purer time. However, the hesitation persists, and the singer admits that something is wrong inside their heart. The chorus brings in the phrase "in the name of glory," which adds a layer of meaning - in pursuit of glory, the singer is struggling with their inner turmoil.
The second verse adds more elements of the counterculture of the sixties, with references to peace, love, understanding, and psychedelic visions. But again, the singer admits to lying and hesitating, suggesting that these ideals may be hard to achieve in reality. The last line, "She don't care too much for moonlight sun," is ambiguous, but it could refer to someone who doesn't care about superficial things and is seeking something deeper.
Overall, the lyrics in Glory convey a sense of nostalgia, idealism, and unease. The singer is aware of the difficulties of achieving their goals but still wants to strive for glory - whatever that may mean.

Say what you want. Dizzy is a cut above the rest. They're truely the best we Danes have to offer. Maybe exept for H. C. Andersen. Classics. He's hard to compare to.
