Nice to see that no one seems to have a problem with the Bismarck and German soldiers. I remember when I studied in Los Angeles they some time tested me bad just because I was German-always these nazi stories. I proudly answered them that my grandfather served under Erwin Rommel in Africa, later then he jumped off over Crete (he was a paratrooper). After this his aircraft got shot and they crashed into the Mediterranean Sea where he managed to survive ed three days. He then got rescued and came back to Berlin. It is those’d stories that you hear when you are little and don’t understand what it actually means. Thanks to Sabaton bringing it up without negative connotation or anti German propaganda.

I had one last exam left for me to graduate and finish high school. It was chemistry. I had a hard time during the semester and now I was going to take exams in all subjects. I did not sleep until morning and studied chemistry. Then I realized that I forgot everything 1 hour before the exam. Nothing came to my mind. At that moment, I was in despair. I forgot everything because I was so stressed. I was even more depressed when I started to think that I would fail the class and let my family down. I was very stressed during the exam period because I was afraid of failing. I had a very difficult year, was very depressed, but this was the last dance. All I had to do was get a grade above 50. And the time has come. I got on my bike and turned on this song. I felt like I was going to war for the last time. Throughout the journey, the song gave me self-confidence and helped me to relieve my stress. I took the test after listening to this song. And I did it guys. I succeeded. This song has a special place and value for me. Thank you dear sabaton members for this masterpiece. You guys are my hero.

Fun fact: The Royal Navy continued to fire upon Bismarck for hours after Bismarck was unable to fight back and subsequently surrendered. A chaplain aboard Admiral Tovey’s ship pleaded with them to stop firing on Bismarck, given that the Germans had surrendered, but Tovey refused to let up until the ship was sunk. They fired nearly 3,000 shells at Bismarck over the course of several hours and still she refused to go under. Once the ship finally began to sink, the British recused a little over 100 of the 2,000+ men aboard Bismarck, leaving the rest to drown or freeze in the icy Atlantic waters after they sighted a submarine. One ship present was a Polish destroyer assisting the Royal Navy, flashing “I am a Pole” in Norse code via signal light while unloading on Bismarck.

Bros I am huge fan from iran .In addition to being a metal head i am obcessed with WWII era with all its heritage and glory from the blitz to the arden offensive and the final days in the hitlers bunker. This message is just to show you how far your music has reached and how it had created bonds with guys in a nation with an ancient history but not much to show the world today. A hit stuck its direction si Bismarck could only go left in circles. Ships then surrounded it with a ton of ships and after shooting a long time at it, finally sunk it. Try sinking Bismarck otherwise

@Awesome trucker 747 Almost. The crew had planned to as their guns were down. The Brits finally had to make for port and left a couple of cruisers to hit it with torps. Most likely it was that what ended it as it was probably listing enough to push the armor belts below the water.
