Django Wagner was born and grew up in a gypsy trailer park with a musical family. He was already making music when he still was a little kid. He speaks four languages and especially his gypsy language. Wagner is in good company because gypsies have produced other musicians like Django Reinhardt, Tata Mirando and of course the Rosenberg Trio.

Their debut single "Kali" was released as a single. For this single was a collaboration with the Rosenberg Trio. In the accompanying sound clip of the old rhythms and stereotypes of the Gypsy culture still. It speaks of longing, a certain nostalgia, but with a modern twist.
End of 2009 the debut album of Django Wagner titled Kali. This album contains the same single, Beautiful Blue Eyes and My Name Is Marina which it acquired a place in the Dutch Single Top 100.
