Do was born in 1981 in Valkenswaard, Netherlands. Her father is Willem-Jan van Hulst, a popular tennis coach. At age fifteen, she planned to compete in Wimbledon, but an injury ended her tennis career. Her first musical performance was in café Old Dutch in Valkenswaard, which led to a record label deal with Sony Music BMG.
Before she even released a single, she was a supporting act for the tour of 5ive and Montell Jordan in the Netherlands. The first single Do released was the song Real Good. Although the music video was played a lot on the Dutch music channel TMF, it was not a hit song in the Netherlands. Later in an interview, she says that "It wasn't my sound, and I hated the video. Thankfully it wasn't a hit, 'cause I don't want people to remember me from that song". After that, Do collaborated with DJ Sammy and Yanou, who is also her producer. The song was a cover of Bryan Adams song Heaven. It became an international hit. It reached the number one spot in the United Kingdom and was a Top ten hit in several countries. A candlelight remix version was made with a slower, piano instrumental. During this time, she had some problems with the credits of the song. Everywhere she went, she was asked if she was DJ Sammy because the song (in accordance with most dance songs) was credited to DJ Sammy, and she was the main focus in the video.[citation needed] Her candlelight version of "Heaven" is also used for the ending sequence of the TV series 'Cold Case', 1st season episode 8 'Fly Away'.

Hoo, ooh, ooh ooh
또다시 사랑이야 ooh ooh ooh
Whoa hoo, ooh
잠들지 않는 마음이야
Ah 잠시 잊고 있던 마음이야
매번 기대하고 무너지더라도
그게 끝이 아니니까
하루라는 페이지를 한번 더 넘겨
다가올 사랑이야
Hmm 그대라는 더 큰 세상이야
눈을 마주 보고 손을 마주 잡고
함께 나이 들어가고
마지막도 함께하고 싶게 하는 건
그대란 사랑이야 oh, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ooh oh oh yeah
In "Blame it on Love," Do sings about the complexities of love and how it can be both a source of joy and pain at the same time. The opening lines express the difficulties of giving one's heart to someone else, feeling like it's a luxury and the act of receiving love can be overwhelming. However, the memories of moments when love was everything and every moment felt like a miracle is something that lingers on even after the season of love has passed. The singer acknowledges that though life is moving on, and there are moments of doubt, they will keep on believing in love and let it guide them when approaching crossroads.
The song highlights the cyclical nature of love, that although it can be troublesome, it's a necessary part of life. The chorus repeats the phrase "Blame it on love" as if to say all the troubles and joys of love must be credited to it, as it's the one driving force that pushes people towards each other. Even when one may feel down, the thought of being able to make someone else happy or seeing someone they love can make their heart flutter. The final lines allude to a happy ending, where the singer finds someone who they can grow old with, someone who makes them want to face the future together.

Blame It On Your Love
Charli XCX
Hey, listen! (hahaha)
I blame it on you, I blame it on you
Yee!
I just wanna drink you up
Pour you in a silver cup
You know I like to party
But you know I love your body
So many things I shouldn't do
I hate myself for hurting you
Honestly, I'm reckless
I'm sorry if I'm selfish
Every time you get too close I run, I run away
And every time you say the words I don't know what to say
Back, back to the beginning
Really wish that I could change
I do, I do, I do
I blame it on your love
Every time I fuck it up
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I can't help it, I can't stop
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I blame it on your love
Sorry I'm a little scared
But no one ever really cared (ah)
I took you for granted (yeah, I did)
Just a big misunderstanding
I just want to spend the night (one night)
Sleeping in your bed tonight, yeah
Watch a little TV
I love it when you need me
Every time you get too close I run, I run away
And every time you say the words I don't know what to say
Back, back to the beginning
Really wish that I could change
I do, I do, I do
I blame it on your love (yeah, yeah)
Every time I fuck it up (fuck it up, man)
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I can't help it, I can't stop
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I blame it on your love (y'all ready?)
I don't know what's wrong with this girl, Charli, she crazy
Gotta blame it on the, blame it on the, blame it on the juice
Looking at my booty like you don't know what to do
Baby, I know that you can't control it
But my body like a swisher, just roll it
I'ma give you one chance to fall in love
Give you one chance, don't fuck this up
Ah ah oh (uh-oh, uh-oh)
I'm tryna catch millions, I ain't tryna catch feelings (bitch!)
I blame it on your love (yeah, yeah)
Every time I fuck it up (fuck it up, man)
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I can't help it, I can't stop
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
Every time I fuck it up
I blame it on your love, I do
I blame it on your love
I can't help it, I can't stop
I blame it on your love, I do (hahahaha, ok, that's it)
