Car jacking

You summon demon djinn

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Dopethrone's song "Riff Dealer" describe the reckless and dangerous behavior that can arise from addiction and a lust for thrills. With references to shine drinking and carjacking, the song paints a picture of a lifestyle that is out of control and fueled by substance abuse. The title "Riff Dealer" refers to the power of music to transport the listener and evoke powerful emotions, in this case summoning a demon djinn.

The use of the term "summon" suggests a deliberate and intentional act, as though the listener is actively seeking out this wild and destructive lifestyle. The language of the lyrics is vivid and visceral, with "dope smoking" and "ears ringing" creating a sense of chaos and disorientation. At its core, the song is a cautionary tale about the dangers of addiction and the extreme lengths to which some people will go in pursuit of a high.

It truly is a masterpiece. This song (Dopethrone), Hearts Alive and Last Baron (Mastodon), Mt Abraxas and Desert Ceremony (Uncle Acid) Saturnine and Funeralopolis (Electric Wizard), Killing Yourself to Live, Planet Caravan, and NIB (Black Sabbath). If I could only listen to these metal songs. I'd be satisfied. The range, diversity, and subtleties in these songs are all out of this world.
