Dr. J. James Lyrics

Nah, nah, nah, nah
Yeah, yeah, nah, nah, nah
Mhm, yeah, yeah, mhm, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
She gon' give me toppings, like it's mother fuckin' Pizza
I walked in the mall and I swiped out on a Visa
I'm tryna paint her face, I ain't talkin' Mona Lisa
Get her number, fuck her one night, and then I leave her
They see me blowin' up, now they askin' for features
I never had nothin', I came from the bottom
Told my brothers, once I make it, yeah, you know I got 'em
We see an opp, wet him up, just like a fuckin' spot
And yeah, I copped, yeah, I took it off the lot
I ain't never had nothin' so I'm shootin' to the top
And I don't play with these niggas, no, I ain't nice
And I feel like Rod Wave 'cause my heart is all on ice
Yeah, yeah, and she gon' fuck me off that fuckin' perc
Got that 4-5 with the Glock, we gon' make a nigga twerk
And these niggas all bitches, I swear they need some skirts
And they call me Lil Uzi, the way I spit my vert, ay
Talk 'bout trendin’, I’m poppin', people gon' hate regardless
But my sound the one they jockin'
She wanna fuck, did I hit? no comment
I don’t rep no gang, no set, but best believe I'm about that action
He wanna talk that thing, he'll talk that thing, I might have to pop his back in
I get bands, okay, put 'em in the safe
I know he ain't real, I cannot relate
How the fuck you feel? how the fuck you feel? babe
That boy still ain't doin' shit and think it's how the game goes
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, ay, wait on me, no, no, no, no, ay
That's something she can't do, can I put my trust in you? ooh
Since I was a jit, you used to always do me dirty
I would give you love and you would always give me heartache
Came in with the Waist on Jah so now they call me two face
Said you'd never leave but now you're switchin' shades like Kim K
But tell me why, you've been runnin' from the lights
Cross my heart and hope to die, I've been fienin' for your time
Always come protected cause I'm stayin' with the wits
I said I pulled up with the diaper bag and I ain't talkin' shits
Said I "ran up on him with the knife" and I ain't talkin' swiss
I said I love you but you broke my heart, just like a fuckin' stick
I must be playin' baseball 'cause the way I swing and miss
It's like I'm on a playground, put the ring around my wrist
Put us 3 on a track, it's like a three and then we swish
You said you loved me back but I guess ignorance is bliss
So, tell me why, you've been runnin' from the lights
Cross my heart and hope to die, I've been fienin' for your time
So, tell me why, you've been runnin' from the lights
Cross my heart and hope to die, I've been fienin' for your time
No, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no
No, no, no

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Dr. J. James's song "Bliss" delve into themes of love, betrayal, heartbreak, and inner turmoil. The opening lines set the tone with repetitions of "Nah" and "Yeah," creating a sense of back and forth, indecision, and inner conflict. The artist describes a woman who offers him indulgences, akin to the toppings on a pizza, showcasing a superficial form of affection or desire. The references to materialism, such as swiping a Visa card and flaunting wealth by purchasing expensive items like a vehicle off the lot, highlight a lifestyle centered on material possessions and instant gratification.

The song transitions into a darker tone as the artist alludes to a sense of isolation and mistrust, with lines like "I ain't nice" and feeling like his heart is "all on ice," suggesting emotional detachment and a hardened demeanor. The lyrics touch upon themes of loyalty and betrayal, with a mention of leaving someone after a one-night stand and insinuations of violence towards perceived enemies. The artist asserts his determination to rise to the top, emphasizing his ambition and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed in a cutthroat environment.

The narrative evolves into reflections on past hurts and disappointments in relationships, as the artist laments being treated unfairly and experiencing heartache despite giving his love. There are references to feeling let down and betrayed, with comparisons to being two-faced and shedding light on the pain of unfulfilled promises and broken trust. The artist struggles with conflicting emotions, expressing a mix of longing for connection and frustration over repeated disappointments, culminating in a sentiment that ignorance may sometimes be bliss when facing the harsh realities of love and relationships.

The repeated refrain of "So, tell me why, you've been running from the lights, cross my heart and hope to die, I've been fiending for your time" encapsulates a yearning for clarity, closure, and understanding amidst confusion and emotional turmoil. The artist grapples with feelings of abandonment, longing for affection, and the complexities of navigating relationships fraught with betrayal and heartbreak. The introspective nature of the lyrics and the raw emotion conveyed through them offer a glimpse into the artist's inner struggles, highlighting the fragility and complexities of human connection and the quest for true emotional fulfillment.

My skin routine probably isn't the best but I've discovered that my skin is just super sensitive and found products that work for me while also not irritating my skin.

So, I use the clean and clear lemon scrub once or twice a week depending on my skins build up and moisture levels. And I use this one either in the morning or night time.
I also use the clean and clear morning one (the orange one) for everyday maintenance and I alternate it between morning and night. So I if I use the lemon scrub in the morning then I use the orange one at night if it's the day of the week I use my face scrub.
I use the purple elf moisturizer for my skin after I use the scrub and sometimes when I do the everyday cleanser (just depends if my skin looks super dry or not)
And sometimes my skin just needs a break so I cleanse my face with a plain old dove bar soap (the one I'm using now is the stress relief one)
Most of my daily maintenance days are the orange clean and clear in the morning and dove bar at night, but I occasionally use the night clean and clear one (the blue one) for days when I just need a little more.
I mainly use the dove bar soap at night because my skin just needs a breather before I go to bed.

Honestly, probably not the best routine but I've tried so many brands and just found what works for my skins build up control, and I went through some bad phases in highschool when experimenting because the products broke me out or just weren't working for my skin control and my pores looked so bad 😔. But since I started using the routine I have had for a while (about a year) now and sticking to the products I know work for my skin, my pores and build up are 100 times better then I've ever seen them.

Nah those two didn't work for me

@Michelle S Prescription strength Tretinoin 0.05%, Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Lactic acid and also the Ordinary's Salicylic acid 10% masque all worked on me. It just took 3 months for me to see all the major changes, but my pores smoothed out and minimized a lot within just 30days of a consistent routine!...

Those pore strips are invaluable for pulling out splinters in hard to reach/see places or for kids who hate tweezers. You just cut off a piece big enough, wet it, wait, and presto! No more painful splinter.
Excellent advice, and I learned a lot from this video.

Oh that's a great tip. My youngest is so bad when it comes to me removing things like splinters, so I'll have to give this a go.

THANKS FOR YOUR CREATIVE TIP. I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT TO USE THE STRIPS IN THAT WAY.👍

Bruh

Forget about the kids I’m gonna use this myself.
