Overall Meaning

In Drake's song "Come Thru" he reminisces about the past and suggests to his old flame that she come through and spend time with him. In the first verse, Drake thinks about how he used to sleep at her place, but now he wants to pick her up on the way to spend some alone time with her. He also requests that she call into work so they can spend more time together. In the second verse, Drake explains that he is currently in the studio with colleagues and there is some twerking going on. He also states that he wants her back in his life and wants to pour her a drink and let her burn something. There is a repetition of the chorus that confirms there are things they need to do together and that she has a special "thing" that he likes.
