This is a magnificent performance. I got the entire cycle when it first came out (and yes, I'm a long time fan of both Rammstein and Herr Pape) and hoped to see this live. Thanks for posting this clip - absolutely magnificent!

I heard about this version just now and did a search and found this. I have to say on first listen (i'm into the first minute or so) it's unrecognizable to me...and this is one of my favorite songs from Rammstein. I like and am open to seeing other people interpret music differently. I'll second the Bravo on at least appreciating that someone with a classical background hearing the great music that all of Rammsteins fans hear as well.

This is just MARVELOUS !!! I always say that Rammstein are the heirs of the lieder in the pop culture (thanks to Till Lindemann). You just proved it with your magnificent music. I'm gonna find and buy the CD !!! Bravo ! I love bridges between "elite" and "pop" culture that proves that they can melt and just become "good" culture. Thank you !

It may sounds strange for Rammstein fans and metalheads... But I think, for classical lovers - it is another good piece enjoyable. For me, I think if the it is faster, especially the catchy parts of violin tremblings (as we all remember)...and "less" vocal parts, it would be better & impressive. However, yeah... it's good idea to orchestralize metal songs XD.

@0Nicknames So we can know if we hate it. How else would we be able to do so? I'm not against the orchestrated music from other bands like S&M but you 've got to admit this doesn't sound anything like the original Version. It sounds odd even. And I not only don't hate Rammstein. Even my boxers are labeled Rammstein, I also wear a silver ring, and a bunch of t-shirts. This version of Mein Herz Brennt TOTALLY SUCKS!! And now that I've seen it and heard it, I can Tell. And you can enjoy it anyway

Rammstein has enough money! I bout the CD by Torsten Rasch today! It´s great. It´s like Orchesterlieder from Schubert, Hugo Wolf or Mahler. I like the mixture of both.

Rein instrumental ist es schon sehr toll - das Unheimliche ist schön interpretiert worden - der Gesang ala einer Oper ist eher gewöhnungsbedürftig und für meine Ohren kaum erträglich (dick, übertrieben, unsauber - gibt nur wenige Opern die mir gefallen - hier passt es einfach nicht zur Musik, ist nicht unheimlich, nichts von Mysteriösem bleibt erhalten usw..) - klingt wie gute Filmmusik, wie sie früher gern verwendet wurde für alte Filme

This is interpretation of the lyrics, not the music like someone before said. It isn't Rammstein, it's Till Lidemann's poetry included in Rammstein's music. So don't expect to hear any Rammstein motifs here.

Den Schrott kann kein Rammstein-Fan auch nur annähernd gut finden. Sorry aber das is ne Beleidigung für Rammstein.
