I didn’t perceive the smile as a sense of guilt. I think it was more to display how cold hearted of a killer his character was. Doesn’t show any sort of emotion in the other scenes except when he has the opportunity to kill. Only thing that brings him any sort of thrill and joy, that’s how cold he is.

Colors was the precursor to all of the "gangsta" films that would follow it shortly afterwards (New Jack City, Boyz 'N The Hood, Menace II Society, Juice, etc.) It was one of Cheadle's first feature film appearances. Him along with Sean Penn and Robert Duvall gave memorable performances. And Dennis Hopper's direction was on point.

Damon wayans is a GOOD actor but I can tell some people would get a little irritated with him because he learns EVERYONES LINES! at 1:25 you can see him mouthing the other guys lines but it could be a way of him remembering his own lines

I've always wondered, where does the perception come from where Red is less than Blue? Like you see it in video games especially where red teams always seem to lose to the Blue, I was just thinking, where does the perception come from where we seem to think Blue is better than the colour Red?
