Dub Fx the street-loop-beatboxer grew up in St Kilda / Melbourne / Australia performing in various bands before hitting the world-wide road. Dub Fx uses Roland BOSS effect & loop pedals to create sounds which when layered creates a live musical construct. Predominantly Dub Fx can be found busking through Europe with his Girlfriend the 'Flower Fairy' who also performs along side.
The reggae band Dub FX originated in San Francisco, CA in 2004. Some of the band's influences include Steel Pulse, Aswad, Burning Spear, UB40, Roots Radics, Dub Nation and dozens of Jamaican roots bands from the '60s to the '80s. Dub's band members are: Paul Dawson (vocals, keyboards), Dale Mungaray (vocals, alto sax), Justin Cosgrove (bass), Andy Van Doren (lead & rhythm guitar), Scott Maddern (drums & percussion), Dan Shafer (keyboards & percussion) and Craig Bryant (trombone).

An ancient adage says, “It is from ignorance and ignorance alone that humans must free themselves.” The Illuminati, the Freemasons... these groups WERE not & ARE not evil, nor are they Devil worshippers or our nemesis. People are afraid of the unknown, that which they do not understand. This feeling is akin to the irrational fear that children have of the dark. Yet when a source of light is illuminated, all fears quickly subside. When we enlighten ourselves, we gain new understandings & appreciations instead of perceiving things as they may not be.
There was a time in Europe when humanity was less tolerant of ideas that differed from the mainstream paradigm. The Vatican condemned any practice or belief that threatened the power & authority of Catholicism, and immediately perceived and categorized these things as being inherently evil. As a result of the pervading societal ignorance of the times, many atrocities were committed, including the burning of heretics at the stake, which included scientists, doctors, "truth seekers" etcetera... all of them martyred due to irrational superstitions a.k.a. the Devil.
What the church feared the most was that these secret societies believe that each and every person has divinity within, therefore symbolically we are all "sons of god". We are all children or products of the ultimate conscious energy field which the universe manifests from. These groups adhere to a universal form of spirituality, or a science of self. They embrace all religions, yet do not necessarily show bias towards a particular Messiah or creed. This accounts for their use of certain emblems that seem to transcend major world religions and even time itself.

The aim of these organizations is to help the individual come to a personal realization of the interconnectedness between all things in nature & to awaken the greatest aspect of our consciousness, the God or Master within. Today with all of the messages of fear broadcast through the news, the media, on the internet & when speaking amongst friends, we don't know how to make sense of all the corruption taking place in the world. Being overwhelmed we choose instead to believe that a vague shadowy force is behind all of the world circumstances and claim "them" as being responsible for the numerous tragedies that occur in popular culture. In doing this we subconsciously develop a negative pattern of stress every time we watch the news or discuss world conditions based on irrational conclusions.
An article displayed on John Hopkins University official website entitled The Powerful Impact of Stress states: "Stress is neutral – it is a person's perception of the event that determines their response. Stress is negative when a person feels threatened and not in control of the situation. These feelings instigate a powerful reaction – affecting both the brain and body in ways that can be destructive to physical and mental health"
The article later goes on to say "Behavior is regulated by the prefrontal cortex. This part of the brain acts as CEO, the Chief Executive Officer, and controls all higher brain functions such as impulse control, emotional regulation, reasoning, judgment, decision making, planning and problem solving. Research by neuroscientist Joseph LeDoux at New York University, determined that when a threat is perceived, the amygdala "hijacks" the slower responding CEO."
In part, there is no denying that certain individuals behind the scenes effect the world negatively, however, these are just manifestations of a natural law. Everyone casts their own shadow, in other-words for every action there is a reaction. When we ultimately examine how society has evolved through the millenniums, we are forced to admit that we've come a long way in improving human rights and our quality of living. This isn't to imply societal complacency, there will always be room for improvement, no matter how we change society or who is in power. In light of this, we, as citizens of the world, should take pride in what we've accomplished together. While it is important to recognize what the ideal society should be, it's also important to recognize what it can be at any given moment in history.
In conclusion, as Thomas Jefferson once said, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.". If each of us were to become conscious of how our thoughts & actions effect 1), the earth 2), our psyche and 3), those around us, we would begin to free ourselves of the unnecessary restraints of society, leaving behind pain caused by ignorance. We are the creators for this age, and collectively we shape the world.
