BABY YOU'VE GOT NO TIME FOR LOVE
The lyrics of Dub Thompson's song "No Time" express the feeling of being neglected and unloved by someone who cannot commit to a relationship due to a lack of time. The song is an indictment of the fast-paced modern world where people are always busy and seemingly have no time for anything that requires emotional investment.
The "baby" in the lyrics is the person who is too wrapped up in their own life to pay attention to the feelings of their partner. The lyrics suggest that despite the singer's efforts, they cannot get through to the other person, who is too preoccupied with other things. The repetition of "no time for loving" highlights the frustration, as if to say that love requires time and attention and without it, the relationship is doomed to fail.
Overall, the lyrics of "No Time" convey a sense of disappointment and disillusionment with modern life and relationships. The song speaks to anyone who has ever felt ignored or unloved by someone they care about and reminds us of the importance of making time for the people we love.

Whatever happened to these guys? This album was super cool, I thought they had a big future ahead of them. Just seemed to disappear off the planet after 2014. Shame...

yeah sorry to disappoint, my man. we were a couple of 18 year old idiots who had no idea how to sustain a steady musical enterprise at the time we recorded and toured on this record. we more-or-less officially disbanded sometime in 2016 due to... creative differences I'll say.

Glad you're still making music Matt! Your show at Mammal Gallery in ATL has really stuck with me and my buddies after all these years. Not bad for a couple of 18 year old idiots
