In E.N.O.N.'s song "Dreams and Nightmares," the singer expresses his fear of losing the love of his life. He reveals that he is plagued by nightmares of losing her to verbal and physical abuse. E.N.O.N. further reflects on the love he used to have with her, a love that was once spiritual and fearless. At some point, something went wrong, and he cannot seem to figure out what happened. He used to knock down her walls, but now they are back up, and there seem to be so many barriers to break through.
Amidst his nightmares, E.N.O.N. still dreams of their beautiful future together. He imagines their happy home behind a white picket fence, their children like stars, and the two of them feeling young again. He longs for the good old days when they would laugh and reminisce about the fun times, not the bad times. E.N.O.N. understands that in his dreams, all he wants and needs is his significant other. He wants to give her everything he has, and he knows within himself there is no fifty percent in the relationship; it's one hundred percent.
