Cold
E. White Lyrics

Drop top bitch I'm coming through
I like, once you like me too
Two cups, one for me and you
Go ahead and lose-lose-lose it
Shorty give me top, give it two times
Shorty wanna fuck, we should do that
Shorty want my love, bitch it's too late
Shorty freezing cold, bitch I'm too yeah
Babe you talk too much
Keep on saying that I smoke too much
You should lean back enjoy the fucking show
Split the pill with one of the bros, one half for you
Hop in the car, backseat, babe get comfortable
Don't get involved with the deals, we're unstoppable
Put the packs in your bag, they ain't controlling you
Seatbelt fastened, hit the gas, ain't no obstacles
Late night drive let's crash the whip
Tonight we're lit-lit-lit
I pass the aux, she play my mix
Boost the bass-bass-bass
Shorty give me top, give it two times
Shorty wanna fuck, we should do that
Shorty want my love, bitch it's too late
Shorty freezing cold, bitch I'm too yeah
Shorty give me top, give it two times
Shorty wanna fuck, we should do that
Shorty want my love, bitch it's too late
Shorty freezing cold, bitch I'm too yeah
Shorty give me top, give it two times
Shorty wanna fuck, we should do that
Shorty want my love, bitch it's too late
Shorty freezing cold, bitch I'm too yeah
Drop top bitch I'm coming through
I like, once you like me too

Two cups, one for me and you
Go ahead and lose-lose-lose it

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to E. White's song "Cold" depict a night of partying and indulgence, with the singer and his friends engaging in drug use and risky behavior. The chorus features the repetition of the phrase "Shorty freezing cold, bitch I'm too yeah," which may be interpreted as an assertion of the singer's toughness and ability to handle any situation. The first verse includes mentions of alcohol ("two cups") and sex ("Shorty wanna fuck, we should do that"), with the singer seeming to enjoy his hedonistic lifestyle. The second verse references drug use, as the singer instructs his companion to "Split the pill with one of the bros," and describes a late night drive with boosted bass and fast driving.

The lyrics of "Cold" paint a picture of recklessness and disregard for personal safety or the consequences of one's actions. The phrase "lose-lose-lose it" implies a willingness to let go of inhibitions and fully give in to the moment, while the mentions of drug use and dangerous driving suggest a lack of concern for the negative outcomes of such actions. Despite this apparent bravado, there is an undercurrent of loneliness and longing for connection, as seen in the repeated desire for "Shorty's" attention and affection.

From one Matt White to another, this grooves

@anselmoecheverria6342

Great music combining Gospel, Soul & Good old Rock n Roll. I often why music like this hides. Oh yes, it's for seekers to find & put "out there" for non searchrs to also enjoy ! Love the funky grooves of this tune.

+Nuala Lancaster Looks like my "Music Mojo" is still working :) Thanks for the feedback ! I found that after listening a few times, "for me" his voice can get a bit irritating. No variance.
