Die Fünf um Frontfrau Elena Nacke schmieden ihre Lieder selbst – auch die EP entstand von der Komposition über die Aufnahme und das Abmischen in Eigenproduktion – die meisten auf Deutsch, einige auf Englisch. Sie erzählen tiefgründig und nachdenklich über das Leben und das was uns bewegt, was uns auf die Füße stellt oder uns fliegen lässt, was uns verunsichert oder uns antreibt, etwas zu verändern. ELNAs Songs sollen auch Mut machen, was sich in dem treibenden Sound widerspiegelt.
Dabei decken ELNA ein breites Spektrum ab von rockig-poppigen Songs mit lauten Gitarren bis hin zu den 'sanfteren', melancholisch anmutenden Balladen, in denen Elenas klare Stimme vom Piano begleitet wird und sehr sanft daher kommt.
Gegründet wurde die Band 2013. Dabei kennen die ELNAs sich schon lange und hatten auf diversen Sessions in der münsterländer Musikszene schon oft gemeinsam Musik gemacht und sich auch gegenseitig in verschiedenen Musikformationen unterstützt. Daher können die Fünf auf einen guten Background zurückgreifen. Nach einigen Konzerten im Münsterland zieht die Band nun weitere Kreise und die Fanbase wächst kontinuierlich.
