While they were active for most of the 90's, their biggest success didn't occur until 1997 when their album "Eat At Joey's" was released on Moon Ska Records. Moon Ska was so impressed with their release that they selected them to go on their Moonstomp tour. This tour was where Moon Ska sponsored three of their newest acts to go on tour across the country. Easy Big Fella did a tour with Detroit's The Articles and Atlanta's The Robustos.
Their first album was very big in the underground ska community, and Moon Ska released their second album "Tasty Bits & Spicy Flicks". However, due to embezzlement within the company and a declining interest in ska music in North America, Moon Ska Records went out of business. Little has been heard of Easy Big Fella since then, but given the total lack of new releases and shows it is presumed they are no more.
Found Love
Easy Big Fella Lyrics

I found love in many faces
I found love to end all love
But it ended up a shame
I found love in hallway
On a balcony, in a train
I found loves institution
In found love in a graveyard
At 11:59
Waitin' for the clock to strike,
To tell me it's time
To take this sad life,
And wash it down the drain,
And pick up the bottle
To flush it out my brain
I found love at the bottom,
And I took it to the top
But I can't seem to shake it,
So I tell you to stop
STOP!
In the song "Found Love" by Easy Big Fella, the singer reflects on their many experiences of finding love in different places and people, only to end up disappointed and with a broken heart. The lyrics suggest that the singer has searched for love in every possible way, even in unconventional places like a graveyard, and has tried to wash away their sorrows with drugs and alcohol, but nothing seems to work. The repetition of the phrase "I found love" in each verse contrasts with the negative outcome, creating a sense of irony that highlights the singer's longing for a real and lasting love.
The first verse mentions that the singer found love in many faces and places, suggesting they have been searching for love for a long time. The second verse implies that the singer has even tried institutionalized forms of love, like marriage or relationships, but that it only drove them insane. In the third verse, the singer waits in a graveyard for the clock to strike midnight and reset their life, indicating that they are ready to move on from their unsuccessful attempts at love. However, even after finding love at the bottom and taking it to the top, they are still unable to shake it off, as seen in the final line where they tell someone to stop.
