In Ebony's song "Poison," she describes herself as a bedroom love teacher and ruler, highlighting her confidence and dominance in a sexual relationship. She also portrays herself as a "teaser n pleaser," suggesting that she is skilled in seducing and satisfying her partner. Throughout the song, she uses the metaphor of poison to describe the power she has over her lover, emphasizing that he cannot resist her charms. She sings, "Call it poison sey u cannot lemme go oo," indicating that once her partner falls under her spell, he is unable to break free.
In the second verse, Ebony continues to assert her sexual prowess, instructing her partner to listen to her and follow her lead. She tells him to relax and enjoy the moment, encouraging him to trust her and let her take control. The lyrics "Lemme sit down pon it boy, I no u filling it, I kill kill it, kill it, Ebony pon dis adiebi b3 ba ooh, call it poison" highlight Ebony's confidence in her ability to please her partner and leave him wanting more.
Overall, the song "Poison" is a powerful and assertive representation of Ebony's sexuality and her confidence in the bedroom. She uses the metaphor of poison to convey the idea that once she has captured her lover's heart, he is powerless against her charms.
