(1) A Progressive rock band, formed in late 2004 in Caracas, Venezuela, with the idea of making music without any kind of limits. Formed by three guitars, bass, keyboards and drums, adding a “cuatro” (typical venezuelan instrument) once in a while, you get to see a not so common line-up inside the standards of the genre.
Shortly after the inception of the band, in may 2005, they won the prestigious “Festival Alma Mater Rock” in Caracas, being the first instrumental band in getting that award. Through 2006, they kept on playing live shows and in 2007 they took a break from playing live so they could start working on their first album, which was due sometime around 2008. The album's name will be Nature/Existence and it should come out some time in 2009. Besides this, the band will be appearing in two compilation albums put together by Colossus Magazine (Finland) and Musea Records (France): Rökstenen: a tribute to Swedish progressive rock of the 70's and Paradiso based on Dante's Divine Comedy.
(2) An Ambient Post-Hardcore/Post-Metal project based in Winchester, UK.
Echoes formed in November 2010. Their debut album "Transcendent" is followed by their new album "The Pursuit" which can be purchased through iTunes or via their website.

Having only been the final line-up since the summer of 2010, their music has developed already into a more mature sound that nods at their contemporaries. Since the start of the self-produced album the band have worked solidly to promote themselves and have made several connections with promoters and other bands. Their music has been described as "perfect sweeping soundscapes", and they bring a fresh style to the young UK hardcore scene.

(16) (Incorrect redirect) Echos, the Portland duo, fall into a genreless mist of both cinematic post-rock style instrumentation and left-of-center pop writing; paving a new path, and style along the way. Clash Magazine notes Echos are "Oddly infectious […] in an electronic haze”. Often self-referential and coated in bitter-romance lyricism, Echos brings the angst of 2006’s emo days and reinvents it with 2018’s anti-pop pop-music. Have been working with with online promotional mecca ‘MrSuicideSheep’ and his label ‘Seeking Blue’ for the last 3+ years – Echos has seen the fortune of millions of streams, impressions, and eyes on their music. Finding importance in the physical, Echos has not only seen gains digitally, but they have found themselves supporting large-room sold out tours with electronic acts like Illenium, on the festival stages of Electric Forest, Snowglobe, and more as well as a bus tour with Alternative metal good-boys ‘I See Stars’.
(17) A Berlin based post-punk/new wave band who formed in 2019 and released their first demo in July 2020. Their Bandcamp: https://echoesberlin.bandcamp.com/album/demo-2020

Echoes Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
At the same crossroads as before
As the fires around us die down
Decisions against the clock
Our hearts are racing towards the sun
New day's dawn so full of hope
A kaleidoscope of emotional outbursts
Struggling against the words we spoke
I swear I cannot take another Fall
And all the pain that goes along
Tears flow into mighty rivers
Words turn into frail butterflies
As beautiful as lonely as decayed
Flying idly with deathly intent
Descending slowly wings are trembling
Towards darkness ever onwards
We fail to get really involved
We fail to distance ourselves
We fail to forgive fail to forget
We fail to see our horrors untold
This stillborn feeling cannot be brought to life
The inability to cope with those around us
Consumed by the need to know wrong from right
Even if it doesn't change a thing... about you... or me
Bodies rust together on this unfair world
Minds that melt into thousands of regrets
Killers in the morning lovers in the dark
What defines our sanity addicted to drama
We fail to get really involved
We fail to distance ourselves
We fail to forgive fail to forget
We fail to see our horrors untold
Again I failed to even notice
My body collapsing to the floor
As the curtain draws to a close
Seasons came to pass
The lyrics of the song Unfair by Echoes address the recurring patterns of our lives and the inability to change them. The singer and their thoughts come to a crossroads, where they must make a decision before time runs out. In the midst of this internal conflict, they are plagued by memories of pain and disappointment, which they can't seem to escape. The chorus emphasizes the idea of "failing" to engage with the world, and the complex emotions that come with it. Despite the desire to break free from these cycles, the singer seems to be haunted by their own flaws and the flaws of those around them. The song ultimately ends on the image of seasons changing, but also repeating, suggesting that the singer is still stuck in their own cycle.
In terms of musical style, Unfair is a slow-tempo ballad that builds up gradually throughout the song. The instrumentation is minimal, focusing mostly on piano and strings, which adds to the emotional weight of the lyrics. Daniele Bonacini's vocal performance is especially haunting in the chorus, where he repeats the refrain of "we fail" with increasing intensity. The song has a melancholic, introspective feel to it, which matches the themes of self-examination and self-doubt that run through the lyrics.
