In August of 2004 Eden Maine recorded their debut album in deepest darkest Wales with producer Andrew Schneider (Keelhaul, Cave-In, The Red Chord). More atmospheric, and deeper in scope and melody, “To You The First Star” showed Eden Maine progressing in different directions from the harsh, barely constrained ferocity of their debut EP. A cohesive collection of bleak soundscapes, delicately forlorn melody and brutal noise, the album received rave reviews from all the major metal music press.
Their hard working DIY ethic and has ensured Eden Maine have spent most of their time on the road, playing as many shows as they can manage.
Eden Maine chose to take an indefinate hiatus in 2005.

Eden Maine Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
mental introduction:
Verse 1:
We all look for signs
That the end is near
And we cling to the hope
That the message is clear
Pre-chorus:
How can we know
What is truth and what is fear
When all that we're told
Is still ringing in our ears
Chorus:
Echoes of pain
Echoes of fear
Echoes that resound
Through the years
Verse 2:
We all search for answers
In a world of doubt
And we grasp at straws
Trying to figure it all out
Pre-chorus:
How can we know
What is right and what is wrong
When all that we see
Is a deception that's been going on
Chorus:
Echoes of pain
Echoes of fear
Echoes that resound
Through the years
Bridge:
But in the end
The truth will be revealed
And all will be made clear
Echoes will fade
And the light will shine bright
Chorus:
Echoes of pain
Echoes of fear
Echoes that resound
Through the years
