Let Go
Edison Glass Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Singing sweetly, she passed by me
She knew, it seemed
That sound, that song was troubling me

Do tell
No, no, no
Please, sir
Here we go

Sleepwalking, sleep, sleepwalking

Last night, I awoke to an opera house full of empty seats
Performing Einstein on the beach
You've stifled this too long and the dream inside is far too strong
You've got to, got to, learn to let go, let go

Open your lips
Let out a song
Open your heart
And let it sing

Open your lips
Let out a song
Open your heart
And let it sing

Hey, let go
Hey, let go

The phrase "Hey, let go" at the end of the song serves as a final reminder to the listener to let go of their inhibitions and take a leap of faith.

I've been listening to Edison Glass for a long time. They have to be the most underrated band I've ever listen to. How can such great musical talent go unheard of? I loved the first album but Time Is Fiction really made me realize that people need to know about this band. Along with that, they need new music. I WANT MORE!
