Eleni Era … Read Full Bio ↴Eleni Era's music is available on all digital platforms.
Eleni Era is a classical pianist and girls’ choir leader in Berlin. Her arrangements feature her silky-smooth vocals that reach from full-bodied to delicate and crystalline, and are supported by backgrounds of lush piano chord sequences sewn through trance-like and mellow beats. Hailing from a small village on the mediterranean island, Cyprus, Eleni Era was trained as a concert pianist and has won various distinctions. She continued her training in her current base in Berlin, performing in concert halls around Germany and in venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Kammersaal der Philharmonie Berline, before conducting the junior groups of the Berlin State Choir for girls.
The songstress will release her upcoming debut album ‘Rise Love’ on March 1 2019. The album is a collection of songs that she’s long kept close and is now ready to share with the public. Long-time friends and fellow artists, Lefteris Moumtzis (Freedom Candlemaker) and Andreas Trachonitis provide a helping hand on the album and are also on production duties. Her forthcoming album will be a confessional one - “I find salvation in heading to the piano, humming through a yet unborn melody at 3am, waiting for the exact words to come out so that I can listen to what they have to say. It helps me understand myself and I heal in the process.”
Walk With Me

Why don't you walk with me again
Why don′t you walk with me
Why don't you walk with me again
We could try it differently this time
We could try it differently this time
Leave all our troubles
We could try it differently this time
We could try it differently this time
We could try it differently this time
Why don′t you walk with me
Why don't you walk with me again
Why don′t you walk with me
Why don't you walk with me again
We could try it differently this time
We could just forget what′s yours and what's mine
Leave all our troubles behind
Leave all our troubles behind
Why don′t you see
I'll let you be
And I'll let you lead, I′ll walk beside you
Paint our journey with new dreams
I′ll do it one more time
I'll do it every time
We could try it differently this time
We could try it differently this time
We could just forget what′s yours and what's mine
We could try it differently this time
We could try it differently this time
We could just forget what′s yours and what's mine
We could just forget what′s yours and what's mine
Leave all our troubles
Leave all our troubles behind
The lyrics to Eleni Era's "Walk With Me" present a plea to someone to walk with the singer, enticing the person by the prospect of trying something new and leaving behind all their troubles. The repetition of the opening lines emphasizes the singer's desire for companionship, and the suggestion to "try it differently this time" suggests that they have attempted this before with mixed results. The idea of forgetting the boundaries between them – what's yours and what's mine – indicates a deep desire for intimacy and unity.
The following lines, "Why don't you see / I'll let you be / And I'll let you lead, I'll walk beside you," indicate that the singer is willing to be accommodating and follow the other person's lead. The suggestion to "paint our journey with new dreams" hints at the possibility of adventure and excitement. The chorus is repeated several times, underscoring the singer's desire for company and their willingness to approach the situation with a fresh mindset.
The overall tone of the song is wistful and hopeful, with a touch of desperation. It feels like an invitation to explore life more fully, with a companion at one's side. The singer is willing to let go of past disagreements and pain, offering a new beginning where they can walk together without fear of judgment or expectations.
