The chorus of the song repeats the singer's desire to be the one that their love interest does not give up on. The singer desperately wants to be the person that their love interest loves more than anyone else in the world. He/she is scared of letting them down and losing them but wants to do everything in their power to ensure that they never have to face that reality.
In the second verse, the singer expresses how their love is so strong that they even do not care what the world thinks about their relationship.
