Tick Tock

Tick tock
Spin it round the wall again
Drip drop
Drip drop
Watch the tears fall through the floor
Tick tock
I′ve changed I've changed for the better
Is it asking far too much to ask for a letter
One day one day I will be free (Soon you′ll see)
Then you'll regret what you've done to me
I am a good man
Not part of my plan
Living by myself inside my head
Thought I was strong
But I can′t keep going on (hold on)
When all I know is pain
Tick tock tick tock
What will I do today
Drip drop drip drop
It′s probably the same
Help me help me
I just wanna be free
Please see please see
It's torturing me
Tick tock
Drip drop
I′ve changed I've changed for the better
Is it asking far too much to ask for a letter
One day one day I will be free (soon you′ll see)
Then you'll regret what you′ve done to me
I am a good man
Not part of my plan
Living by myself inside my head
Thought I was strong
But I can keep going on (hold on)
When all I know is pain
The lyrics in Ellienort's "Tick Tock" repeat the sound of a clock ticking and water dripping in the background, serving as a metaphor for the singer's limitations and suffering. The song speaks about the pain caused by someone's betrayal and how it becomes difficult to move on with the memories that still linger around. The lyrics also express the singer's desire to escape from the emotional distress and push for vengeance.
The line "I've changed for the better" shows that the singer has evolved from their past and learned from their mistakes. Despite this, they still hold on to the hurt and resentment caused by someone. The singer feels alone, struggling within their own head and emotions, and is trying their best to give themselves a chance to heal. The last line, "When all I know is pain," highlights the sense of hopelessness and perplexity that the singer feels.
Overall, "Tick Tock" conveys the message that healing takes time and acknowledging the hurt is the first step to move forward in life. Still, sometimes, one can't help but hold on to the memories and dwell on them, unable to move forward.

This song is soooo cool! Your voice is beautiful, and your harmonies and background singing add so much and sound so good. I love the repetition of lyrics because everyday for Dream is a repetition of the last except when people visit, which is (understandably) not very often, and all of your lyrics are just amazing
