Elton is a punk rock band from Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. The band was formed in 2005 and released their first album, "Pequeno mundo que só você conhece" (The Little World Only You Know), in early 2006.
The band was created by Rodrigo Deltoro (guitar/vocals), Didi Gloor (drums), Eddie Hoffman (bass) and Fabinho (guitar) soon after Deltoro and Gloor left Tequila Baby, another punk rock band from Porto Alegre.
Elton is also the name of a German TV moderator and comedian. His career began with his job at the TV show "TV Total" by Germany's comedian Stefan Raab.

I just want to say - after listening to this again - this piece is deceptively simple. You think you're listening to a simple tune, until you realize how stunning and purposeful and beautiful the passages are; the tempo, the timing of backing vocals at the ends of phrases, Elton's own voice dubbed over itself or harmonizing with himself...There is so much purpose and it creates an extremely pleasant listening experience!! That is the secret to most of Elton's recordings!!

One thing about Elton, his producers, and the execution of the music. I, too, must come back to it and listen again and again. You - Are - Welcome! Sometimes, I feel compelled to express how wonderful it feels to listen to Elton's recordings. After years and years, I still want to go back and hear them again and again. His team and recording engineers and producers must have been so "tight" working together, they knew what they wanted to do, and somehow worked to get there!
