It's Been Real
Eminem Lyrics

Thanks, it's been real
I love you but I just can't deal
With the stress this game is giving me
But before I go
You know, I can't close the show
Without no closure
So before I leave
Yeah
I just want to take the time out right now, man to
Basically say Rest In Peace to Deshaun Holton
That's my heart, man
Dr. Dre
For giving me the opportunity
Just to even listen to me
To get me to this point
I wanna thank Jimmy Iovine
Interscope, Aftermath
Everybody at the whole Shady staff
Everybody who's basically supported me from day one
Paul Rosenberg, Tracy McNew
You know I love you guys
I couldn't do it without you
D12
Ca$his, you gon' be a beast when you get out there, man
Trust me, homie, my ears don't lie to me
Who else am I forgetting?
Oh yeah, Obie Trice
Bobby Creekwater, and basically, man
The whole city of Detroit
8 Mile Road, for making me what I am today
Which basically goes back to Proof and D12
I love you guys, man
Runyon Ave for holding me down when shit got thick
Oh, it wouldn't be complete, if I didn't
Thank my mom, bitch
Haha
So

Thanks it's been real
I love you but I just can't deal
With the stress this game is giving me
But before I go
You know
I can't close the show

Without no closure
So before I leave

About “It's Been Real (Outro)”

This was recorded by Eminem sometime after Proof Died in 2006, but before Relapse.
This is thought to be the Outro to King Mathers, which would’ve been Em’s last album(Planned to be released in 2007-2008).

Marshall was about to retire, this track is obviously leaked though because he decided to come back to the game and never officially released it. Also, the track uses a slowed down instrumental version of “When I’m Gone.”

Just thinking of the fact that Eminem really thought of retiring and had the initiative to record this song makes me cry. Thank God this man came back to make a lot more music, because we would've missed A LOT if he retired in 2007-08. He's dropped 5 albums since then, and he's 46 and still says he'll rap until he's fusil fuel. I hope he raps until 60. I don't wanna see him just dropping one more album and hanging the jersey. Eminem forever :')

@fatherwilliam

2 albums later with another on the way soon, i doubt he's gonna retire for a longggg time
