Wanna know something horrifying/depressing? In the original "Dismiss", you could clearly hear Terra's theme mixed in, as if Terra was still there, fighting hard from the inside, and we soon found out he really was doing so. But here? His theme is nowhere to be heard...

If you’ve played Melody of Memory you come to realise that the standout part of Terra’s theme (the part from Dismiss and this) is in every single Organisation theme and battle themes except Xehanort’s. That same small set of notes show up everywhere

@Brandon Stinson Terranort and his Guardian may have been Xehanort within Terra's body and the guardian being Terra's heart getting forced out but still under control of the darkness and Xehanort hence the hearless-like shape

@Sakonan not really if you think about it- heartless are basically the darkness within a heart given physical form. without his body to contain his heart, terra's heart fell to darkness and created a heartless; only one that was still tied to his body since his body was never actually destroyed (which is typically what happens when a heartless is made.)

If I'm correct both Dismiss from BBS and Guardando nel buio from KH1 are mixed into this song. If I recall Guardando nel buio was mixed into Dismiss as well. I love how well composer builds these songs.
