End up far behind the finish line
I don't know why but I can just feel it
And I can see it shaping up
Could be some kind of disaster
But I can't help but wanna see it through
There's something about me and you
I just can't help but keep falling apart
I keep on falling, falling apart
I keep on falling apart
I keep on falling, falling apart
And I guess I can sketch it out
Write a script line for like you to say it
And how sweet it would be
Coming from your mouth
Mmm, and I keep asking question
But they can't be answered
By anything other than time it'self, mmm
But when I think that it won't work out
I just can't help but keep falling apart
I keep on falling, falling apart
I keep on falling apart
I keep on falling, falling apart
I keep on falling and falling
I, I keep on falling and falling
I, I keep on falling, falling apart
And tell me how can I
Build myself up for love, love
If I just keep on crumbling, crumbling down
Mmh? Yeah, I just keep on falling
I keep on falling and falling
I just keep on falling apart
But I keep on falling and falling apart
I keep on falling apart
I keep on falling, falling apart, oh, yeah
I keep on falling and falling
I, I keep on falling and falling
I, I keep on falling, falling and falling
Falling apart
The lyrics to Emma Louise's song "Falling Apart" convey a sense of uncertainty and fear about the future of a relationship. The singer acknowledges a feeling that one of them will end up behind the finish line, suggesting a potential imbalance or lack of commitment. Despite this apprehension, there is a strong desire to see the relationship through, as indicated by the line, "But I can't help but wanna see it through. There's something about me and you."
The second verse explores the longing for reassurance and certainty. The singer expresses a desire to script a perfect response from their partner, imagining how sweet it would be to hear the right words. However, they also acknowledge that answers to their questions can only be provided by the passage of time.
The chorus reveals the singer's struggle to maintain emotional stability. They confess to constantly falling apart, unable to resist the gravitational pull of these doubts and uncertainties. The bridge further highlights this struggle, questioning how they can build themselves up for love if they continue to crumble down.
Overall, "Falling Apart" portrays the internal conflict and vulnerability that arise when one is unsure about the future of a relationship, but at the same time, remains determined to persist.

This song and whole record reminds me of when Prince made 'Girlfriend', singing from a woman's perspective, with a pitched up voice. I kept thinking it was a male singing whilst listening to the record. Incredible album... You have to respect emma's artistry. The production is really rich as well..This is a record you'll stick on down the line and it will still give you the same goosebumps..

I think this song is great and I don’t think it would have worked with her regular voice, much as I love it. This record is a fun project, I’m glad Emma was able to find enough inspiration in this voice to write an entire album

I heard this on the radio in The Netherlands and I absolutely love it! I'm quite addicted to this song honestly!
