Then I found in myself, on the verge of the fall
They stabbed to the shove
Raise yourself from non-existing serenity
They dared to the raid
Though I stand still
My conclusion as the end
Or the begining inside, a little deep
Feelings I can't explain
When you're inside
And you will find out how we used to be
The paranoid begins
Why do you scare?
I inside I, do you regret?
Your fears; social disaster
Your rules; I have my own
Beliefs; I have my own
They stabbed to the shove left your burden as it has never been
They dared to the raid
Though I stand still
Feelings I can't explain
When you're inside
And you will find out how we used to be
The paranoid begins
Why do you hasitate?
I inside I, do you regret?
But now the game is over!
These wounds will heal
My arise as the end
Or just the beginning inside
As my vegeance sees...
Feelings I can't explain
When you're inside
And you will find out how we used to be
The lyrics to Epure’s song “Never Surrender” tell of a person who has made all their decisions and played all their games, only to find themselves on the verge of falling. The individual faces obstacles and is forced to raise themselves from the nonexistent serenity they once had. Despite this, they stand still and endure the challenges in their path. The individual’s fists try to scatter their conclusion because they cannot understand their feelings, whether it marks the end or beginning of something new.
Feelings come and go, but the memories of what once was remain with the person on the inside. The paranoid feelings begin, and the individual starts to ask themself why they are so scared, do they regret their choices? The lyrics suggest that society’s rules and beliefs are not necessarily meant to apply to everyone. The individual has their own beliefs and rules, and they will not let society dictate the direction of their life. Though they have suffered wounds, they know they will heal in time. Their rise may mark the end, or perhaps it is simply the beginning of something much greater. The last line of “Now the game is over!” suggests the individual has overcome their challenges and is ready for the next step forward.
