He also releases music under the aliases of Cirez D, Pryda and Sheridan. Prydz produces electronic music which falls into a variety of sub genres, most notably house (Including electro house and tech house), minimal and techno.
Aside from producing music Prydz also runs the record labels Pryda, Pryda Friends, and Mouseville, which release most of his own music.
He has enjoyed great chart success with the singles "Proper Education" and "Call on Me", the latter sampling the chorus of Valerie (the only sample ever allowed of Winwood's work), which topped the UK singles charts for 5 weeks. "Proper Education" reached number 2, 4 and 12 in the UK, German and Swedish charts respectively.
Although it is reported that Eric Prydz has a fear a flying, he does not let that stop him from playing in places such as New York, as well as various countries in Europe.

The lyrics of Eric Prydz's song "Call on me" convey the idea of nostalgia and the desire to return to the past. The repetition of "call on me" could be interpreted as a plea to someone from the past to reach out and reconnect, to bring back the memories of youth. The phrase "I'm the same boy I used to be" further reinforces the idea of longing for a time when life was simpler, care free, and full of possibilities, the time when the singer was perhaps more innocent, optimistic, and energetic.
The upbeat, dance-inspiring tempo of the song only adds to its appeal. It captures the attention of listeners and invites them to dance along, creating an atmosphere of joy and carefree abandon. "Call on me" speaks to a universal human desire to return to the past and perhaps reclaim some lost sense of innocence, as the singer invites us to dance and reminisce about the good old days.
Overall, "Call on me" is a fun and catchy song that captures the nostalgia that many people feel for their youth. The repetitive nature of the lyrics and its dance-inducing tempo makes it an excellent song to let loose and dance along with.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Eric PrydzΒ΄ Call on me. This is a completely different track. Nevertheless itΒ΄s brilliant. An extremely agressive rhythm and bassline, combined with fragments of a voice. I love it.

Well... "Call On Me" is originally from Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon. They played it in live sesions and never released the track.
Eric took the structure of what Thomas and Falcon did; he changed it a little bit.
So if we talk about "Call On Me" we should talk about DJ Falcon and Bangalter ;)
Anyway, this version is sick!
