Invincible
Escape The Fate feat. Lindsey Stirling Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I know you're reaching for the throne
Like it's always been your own
You're gonna take it all the way
You're gonna take the crown today

Said I know you're gonna take it all, take it all
Watch the others as they fall, as they fall
I know you're gonna take it all, take it all
Let the others fall

You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame
You're invincible
Stand from the ashes again
There's a fight in your eyes
That burns like a fire
It's your time to rise
You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame
Stone to the flame

I know you're stronger than the rest
So tell them all that you're the best
Not gonna break won't ever bend
You'll be the champion in the end

Said I know you're gonna take it all, take it all
Watch the others as they fall, as they fall
I know you're gonna take it all, take it all
Let the others fall

You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame
You're invincible
Stand from the ashes again
There's a fight in your eyes
That burns like a fire
It's your time to rise
You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame

Bring on all your sticks and stones
We are undefeatable
Try to hurt us but you won't
'Cause we are invincible

Yeah
Bring on the stones
Stone to the flame
'Cause we are invincible

You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame
You're invincible
Stand from the ashes again
There's a fight in your eyes that burns like a fire
It's your time to rise
You're invincible
Like a stone to the flame

Stone to the flame
Stone to the flame

Overall Meaning

The song Invincible by Escape the Fate featuring Lindsey Stirling is an empowering and motivational piece that is meant to encourage listeners to pursue their dreams and aspirations without fear of failure. The lyrics speak to the inherent strength and resilience of the human spirit, and how we all possess the ability to rise from the ashes of adversity and emerge stronger and more invincible than ever before.

The opening lines of the song suggest that the listener is reaching for something that they feel belongs to them, and that they are determined to achieve their goals no matter what. This is reinforced throughout the song, with references to how the listener is stronger than the rest, will never bend or break, and is destined to be the champion in the end. The chorus is particularly powerful, with its repeated mantra of being invincible like a stone to the flame, and standing from the ashes again. The idea behind this is that even if we are knocked down or defeated, we have within us the power to rise up again and keep fighting.

Overall, the song is a message of hope and resilience, and encourages us to believe in ourselves, to trust our instincts, and to never give up on our dreams. It speaks to the universal human experience of struggle and adversity, and how we can all find the inner strength to overcome even the most difficult challenges in our lives.

My only complaint is I wish they'd upped the volume on Lindsey throughout the entire song. It's beautiful in the background, but as a string player, I want that to pop more because I love it so much.

@Aidan303

I was thinking the exact same thing

@mandiyoung4163

Agreed

@meganoconnor3069

I barely could hear her. But it is a nice song

@sulavmdr

I wanted a guitar Solo right after Lindsey's one

@Brswing

@hailey suarez All he's saying he wants it to jump out and stand out more instead of being solely in the background.
