Here Comes The Sun

Carrying out to be alone at night in bed
When everything I try to do just donβ²t happen
I look for funny things but I can't just keep on laughing
But the ring of a bell, a soft hello, a soft hello
Use your words and what do you know?
Oh, what do you know?
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
I could tell just by the words you said
I'll never ever be alone again in bed
Everything I try to do to get your lovinβ²
You just laugh at me but canβ²t you see I'm hopinβ²?
With the touch of your hand, a soft hello, a soft hello
Use your excise, and what do you know?
Oh, what do you know?
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
In Eugene Recordβs song βHere Comes The Sun,β the lyrics express the desire for happiness and love, even when life seems cloudy and dark. The first verse showcases the frustration of trying to find joy in life, while feeling weighed down by feelings of loneliness and stagnation. The lyrics βI look for funny things but I can't just keep on laughingβ reveal the struggle of trying to find a silver lining in life, but ultimately failing. However, the second verse brings hope through the promise of love, with lines like βI'll never ever be alone again in bedβ indicating that the singer has found someone to bring happiness and love.
The chorus, βHere comes the sun,β repeats multiple times throughout the song, acting as a metaphor for the arrival of love and happiness in oneβs life. The use of repetition and the gradual build-up of instruments adds to the songβs hopeful tone, as if the sun is finally coming out after a long, dark night. The lyrics βWith the touch of your hand, a soft helloβ also emphasize the power of human connection and the ability of one person to change someoneβs day or even life.
Overall, Eugeneβs Recordβs βHere Comes The Sunβ is a song about the hope and joy that can come from human connection and love, even in the darkest of times.

While growing up back in the day I played this so much that I had to repurchase it a few times over. I'd usually get the album. I liked the melody and the lyrics but the closing bass line was so AWESOME. I played it on my new bass guitar as well as my old tattered drums. I also blasted this song on our big speakers. I thought everyone needed to hear this gem, or at least the last minute. Eugene Record was a very talented songwriter.
