I think maybe you mean "simple"? which means bare bones, no flash. "simplistic" is a critical word, meaning something like "trite" or "cliché," and I don't think that's what you mean. right?

I couldn't disagree more about the video. I think it's one of the most effective they've done. It really captures that feeling of being alone in a crowd. Annie's back there singing these very personal lyrics, and not one person at the party even seems to notice she's in the room.
