Evolett formed in the Spring 2008 with original members Tyler Gates (21), Stephen Taunton (22), and Jonathan Flurry (21). During the summer of 2008 the band added their fourth member and lead vocalist, Haden Brightwell (19). Russ Daly (20) completed the line up in early Spring 2009.
Evolett began the writing process in the summer of 2008, and recorded their first song "Escape" in July. The band came in contact with Producer Andy Jackson (former Hot Rod Circuit frontman, Terrible Things, Say Anything, Reggie and the Full Effect, and Death in the Park), and began recording at the Jackalope Studio in Montgomery, Al.
Within the first year, Evolett has shared the stage with bands such as: NeverShoutNever, Terrible Things, Cartel, Emery, Framing Hanley, Mayday Parade, VersaEmerge, Hot Rod Circuit, Death in the Park, and many more. Their first tour was in January of 2009 gaining fans throughout the Southeast.
Evolett has been a band for two years now under the Production of Mike Poorman & Management of Andy Jackson. They recorded their first album in October of 2009 at Strangeway Studios in Providence, RI. The bands debut album "For Your Consideration" comes out August 24th, 2010 on End Sounds record label!
