Exilia was formed in 1998 in Milan, Italy, when Masha met guitarist Elio Alien.
They have played at concerts with Guano Apes, H-Blockx, Clawfinger, HIM, Therapy?, In Extremo, Rammstein, and Ill Niño.
Their debut album, "Rightside UP", was released in 2000. Their following album, "Unleashed", debuted in May 2004, and made it into the Top 40 in German charts. In April 2005, band member Andrea Ge left the band and Ale took his place as drummer.
In summer 2006 they released their newest album "Nobody Excluded".
During their festival tour, Masha had an accident while the band was playing Milan. The stage was not safe and she was falling down and broke her leg twice. Following this incident the band canceled all shows and played them later in 2007.
At the beginning of 2007 they found a new bassist, Mata, because Random could not play the next gigs (Nobody Excluded Tour) with Exilia. Mata and Exilia have known each other since 2001. They played some shows in Italy together.
The last single released in October 2006 was "Your Rain".

Exilia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
My tribes invade your radio
Choose your side, choose your crowd
And everybody's gonna get it loud
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Cut the leash, get a life
It's getting closer
It's getting closer
It's getting closer
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
You, eat the dream, eat them bucks
Young rebel from the sun god
Raise your fist, cut the shit
Everybody got to get it loud
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
We are not lost, we are not wrong
We're not just waiting to die
It's getting closer
It's getting closer
It's getting closer
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
I keep my eyes on the stars, we are
Sons of the sun god
I keep my eyes on the stars, we are
Sons of the sun god
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Get sick

Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Get sick
Motherfucker get sick
Are you ready for this?
Ready for the other side
Ready for the other side
Ready for the other side

The lyrics to Exilia's "Get Sick" are an anthem for rebellion and standing up against conformity. The opening line "You, Mr. you, fight the fight" sets the tone for the rest of the song, as it suggests that the listener should be fighting against something. The next line "My tribes invade your radio" implies that the tribes of people who listen to Exilia's music are taking over the airwaves, and their message will be heard by all. The chorus "Get sick, motherfucker get sick" is a call to arms, encouraging the listener to rebel and get sick of the way things are.
The lines "Choose your side, choose your crowd" suggest that the listener needs to make a decision about which side they are on, and who they are aligned with. The repetition of "Turn up the radio" emphasizes the importance of the message being conveyed, and the insistence that it needs to be heard. The lyrics "Cut the leash, get a life / We're not just waiting to die" imply that the listener should break free of societal constraints and live life to the fullest instead of waiting for death to come.
The bridge "I keep my eyes on the stars, we are / Sons of the sun god" is a metaphor for reaching for the stars and achieving greatness. The repetition of "Ready for the other side" in the chorus reinforces the idea that the listener should be prepared for anything and ready to face whatever comes their way.
