No Boys Allowed
FOG Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I am totally fucking prepared to declare nuclear war on every boy in every band...
The opening lyrics to FOG's "No Boys Allowed" suggest a feeling of comfort and safety in a specific environment, one where boys are not present. This sentiment is intensified with the subsequent declaration of nuclear war on every boy in every band. The lyrics communicate a sense of empowerment and self-sufficiency that is often denied to girls and women in male-dominated spaces. It also highlights the frustration and anger that can arise when dealing with the sexism and misogyny often present in such spaces.
