Fabs Lyrics

Show me again the star you gave me
so you can see
how sweet you were with me
But one day I told you that I was in love
It was too much for you, too much 'cos
you were confused
Chorus :
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i know
Dont wanna see the sunrise alone
I wanna see the sunrise with you
don't you realize
Why can't you see you've just gone blind
Tell me why
when you think about me you smile
You're everything I ever dreamed of
you're so different , you're great , but wait
Don't go
Just pretend you haven't heard at all
And now I can read each thought that's in your head
It didn't work my way , let's try it your way
I know we are friends
but I feel that is not enough
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i know
Dont wanna see the sunrise alone
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i want you to see
that our love is not gone easily
And now I can read each thought that's in your head
It didn't work my way , let's try it your way
I know we are friends
but I feel that is not enough
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i know
Dont wanna see the sunrise alone
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i know
Dont wanna see the sunrise alone
I really wanna tell you that I'm not in love
The stars are in the sky and the moon's high above
And i want
you to see
that our love
is not gone easily
The lyrics of Fabs's song "Sunrise" capture a complex emotional journey between two individuals. The singer begins by expressing a desire for a fresh start, symbolized by the line "The sun is sleeping, take me somewhere new." They reminisce about a past connection, represented by a star that was given to them, and reflect on the sweetness of that relationship. However, things took a turn when the singer confessed their love, which overwhelmed the other person. This revelation led to confusion and doubt on their part, despite the singer being certain of their feelings.
The chorus serves as a poignant confession from the singer, who admits that they are not in love, yet long for companionship and shared experiences. The imagery of the stars in the sky and the moon above conveys a sense of longing and a desire for connection with the other person. Despite the singer's attempts to convey their true feelings, there seems to be a distance that has grown between them, leading to a feeling of loneliness as they contemplate facing the sunrise alone.
The third verse delves into the frustration and confusion felt by the singer as they try to understand the other person's perspective. The lyrics question why the other person seems oblivious to the depth of emotions and memories shared between them. The singer acknowledges the uniqueness and greatness of the other person, but pleads for them to stay and not ignore the feelings being expressed.
As the song progresses, there is a sense of resignation and acceptance that things may not work out as planned. The singer expresses a willingness to try things the other person's way, acknowledging the importance of their friendship but also hinting at a longing for something more. Despite the complexity of their feelings and the uncertainties in their relationship, the repeated refrain of not wanting to see the sunrise alone underscores the yearning for shared experiences and connection with the other person.
In the final moments of the song, the singer reiterates their feelings of not being in love but emphasizes the significance of their bond. The lyrics convey a message of resilience and a plea for understanding, as the singer hopes that the other person can see that their love is not easily forgotten. The repeated mentions of the stars in the sky and the moon above evoke a sense of timelessness and the enduring nature of their feelings, despite the challenges and uncertainties they may face in their relationship.
