1. A hardcore punk rock band from Halloween 1982 until Halloween 1985. Coming from the heart of the San Jose, California skateboard scene, the band was one of the original Skate Rock bands whose music and lifestyle tastes centered on skateboarding and punk rock.
2. A UK band who released a 7" called "You've Got The Fire" on the Subhumans' Bluurg label in 1983. They also released a cassette on 96 Tapes.
3. An ambient-electronica-IDM group consisting of Yair Etziony and Rani Golan. They released the LP "The End of Tel Aviv" on Neo Ouija in 2004.

The song "Friends and Enemies" by Faction tells the story of someone who has struggled with fitting in and being accepted by the people around them. The bridge of the song shows how the person begins to feel the weight of their actions. They become overwhelmed with anger, and their head is on fire. They recognize that they have been lying to themselves and others, yet they continue down the same path.
