As cliche as it sounds, 4 things that are great for the mind and soul are 1. Get out and explore the world, country, county! Surround yourself in beauty and take it all in. Take a hike, explore, get lost with some good friends. Shoot some photos or paint a landscape and create some art. This is somewhat of a life saver for me personally, I had always enjoyed such things but decided to kick things up a gear after a tragic loss that pretty much ruined me and my health. It has provided a great hobby, a form of escapism, therapy, I have met some great people who have become great friends along the way and it has paved the way for me to work towards a professional career in photography.

2. Beautiful music. Kind of standard, music can touch anyone and carry them through bad times or good. Be it Classical or Liquid Drum & Bass, if it speaks to you it will! It's other people offering a creative gift that will bless you. Embrace it :)

3. A four legged friend- There's no doubting that coming home to a fluff ball of love is one of the best anti depressants, the unconditional love you get from a pet dog, cat or furry is second to none but it's a two way thing that requires a lot of responsibility to give it back so please don't take on a pet if you don't feel up to it!

4. Lastly Family, friends and strangers- I know when felling down or anxious, people are the last thing you want to deal with, even those you love! But I can get that 90% of the time you do it'll be a great time, worth it and benefit your mood. And remember that those we love, like everyone won't be around forever. Try and push the doubts and anxiety to the side and go make a memory with a loved one, you will honestly never regret it! :)

I know this sounds like a cheesy BuzzFeed style list, I can assure you it's not! Just another guy, relating with your post and sharing my experience

Paloma is literally one of a kind. Musicians like her are really hard to come across. I love how her lyrics are so deep and touching and yet she can incorporate it with a melody that's catchy and almost upbeat, without compromising the impact of the message.

I really adore the underlying message of this song, the fact that being a "man" means no longer showing emotion, its something i have suffered with so i can relate to this so much, so now every time i get told to "man up" i will think of this song and tell myself its ok to cry

For those who say that the video doesn't fit with the song, consider this. True, "Crybaby" has a catchy tune and an uplifting message. But isn't it sad that Paloma has to deliver this message? For a long time, we'v had a society that discourages boys from showing the more tender emotions. They're told, "boys don't cry," "don't show weakness," "be tough," "man up." Anger and aggression are the emotions that society considers to be appropriate for boys. The consequences of this are tragic, for society as a whole and for individual men, for whom suicide is the leading cause of death between the ages of 20 and 45. That's the point Paloma is making with this video, and I think it's something that needs to be said.

Paloma was on radio 2 and was saying how if certain world leaders just learnt to express their emotions freely then things would be a lot better.
She also talked about how just being nice in general makes the world happier, just little things that can go unnoticed like complementing a random person on their outfit, the colour of their eyes or helping an older lady take shopping to her car.

I really like this song, first heard it on Radio Jackie and was moved. It reminds me of how proper R&B used to be 10-15 years ago when I was a teen, none of this rah da da, f f fer, w w wer crap Lol

Secondly Pamola has a beautiful voice and the lyrics are touching. I can relate as a 28 yr old guy who's had plenty of heartache yet has to put on that brave face, be a rock and keep on keeping on, sometimes you get home and just want to cry and let it all out and there's nothing wrong with that!

Ive been stuck at home since having debilitating panic and anxiety attacks. Tried to go out today but had to turn around and come back. Cbd water tincture almost took my life and it sucks. Been like this for 37 days. This song gave me some relief. Love you Paloma! ❤️❤️❤️

This sounds familiar, I developed worsening anxiety and depression and OCD traits so started smoking the herb again thinking it would relieve the symptoms but it made them 10x stronger! I quit it all together over 2 years ago as it just doesn't agree with me.

The human brain is very complex, I know successful people who smoke daily and it helps them focus and produce, other's it calms their anxiety but it's not for all, it just depends on your chemical make up and soul I guess. Many psychoactive drugs don't agree with people who have chemical inbalances common in depression, anxiety, OCD, ect.. THC is commonly bad for this, CBD I was not so sure about. At the end of the day you just have to listen to your body and find what works for you 😊
